Ancient Woodland

It’s funny how the most captivating photos sometimes happen when you least expect them. I ventured into this ancient woodland on a cold, foggy morning, assuming it wasn’t the best day for landscape photography. Little did I know, the mist would transform the familiar trees into something magical. Their branches, heavy with moss, looked like the skeletons of some ancient beings, reaching out from the fog. This place is a frequent haunt of mine, and yet it never ceases to surprise me. I’m so glad I decided to bring my camera along and test out a new lens, because this unexpected shot has become one of my absolute favorites.
