Desolation
I always make it a point to explore a subject from multiple perspectives, and while I was busy photographing this breathtaking waterfall, that striking dead tree caught my eye. It was like a sculpture, perfectly positioned to frame the scene. I knew right then that I had to incorporate it into the composition. It took a few adjustments to get everything just right – I wanted the tree to be a prominent element without overshadowing the waterfall itself. But in the end, I think it adds a touch of drama and depth that elevates the image. The juxtaposition of the weathered wood against the smooth, flowing water tells a story of life, death, and the enduring power of nature.
